Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lumecast. By using the app, you agree to them. Lumecast is a 17+ live-streaming social app.

1. Who Can Use Lumecast

Users must be at least 17 years old and provide a truthful date of birth. Accounts belonging to underage users will be removed.

2. Your Account

Authentication uses one-time codes sent via email or phone. You are responsible for the security of your account. Usernames are assigned on a first-come basis and may be reclaimed in cases of impersonation.

3. Your Content and Conduct

Creators retain ownership of their content while granting Lumecast a worldwide, royalty-free licence to transmit, display, and store it. Prohibited material includes harassment, explicit content, violence, spam, rights violations, and sharing private information without consent. Reports are typically reviewed within 24 hours and may result in content removal, withheld earnings, or account bans.

4. Lux (Virtual Currency)

Lux is non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts, and holds no monetary value. Purchases are for entertainment only and can be spent exclusively within the app.

5. Creator Earnings and Payouts

The minimum payout threshold is US$100, processed monthly via Stripe. Payouts require age 18+ verification. Earnings may be withheld in cases of fraud or guideline violations.

6. Our Service

The service is provided “as is” with no availability guarantees. Our liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the preceding 12 months.

7. Termination

You may delete your account through app settings. Accounts terminated for violations forfeit any unspent Lux.

8. Changes to These Terms

Updates are announced in-app, and continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
